Frequency Terms of Use
Effective date: October 8, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and [Company name] ("we", "us") for the Frequency app. By using Frequency you agree to them. You must be at least 13 years old to use Frequency. Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to your use of the app.
1. What Frequency is (and isn't)
Frequency offers guided meditations, visualization, self-reflection check-ins and suggested action steps. It's for wellness and personal growth.
It is not medical, psychological or financial advice, diagnosis or treatment. The Frequency score is a self-reported reflection of how you're relating to your experience, not a measurement of anything physical. Talk to a qualified professional about health, mental-health or financial decisions. Some suggested activities (for example cold exposure, sauna or exercise) aren't right for everyone: skip them if they don't suit your health, and check with a doctor if you're unsure. If you're in crisis, call or text 988 in the US or your local emergency number.
2. Your account
You need to sign in with Apple to use Frequency after setup. Keep your Apple ID secure; you're responsible for activity on your account. You can delete your account at any time in Settings.
3. Subscriptions
- Frequency is available by subscription: Annual $59.99/year, Monthly $12.99/month, or Weekly $6.99/week. Prices may vary by region and are shown in the app before you buy.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
- Manage or cancel in your Apple ID's subscription settings. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.
4. Your content
Your reality, notes, check-in answers, photos and recordings remain yours. You give us permission to store and process them to run and personalize the app for you, as described in our Privacy Policy. Only upload photos or recordings of yourself.
5. AI-generated content
Some content (your vision, suggested steps, images and narration) is generated by AI from what you share. It can be imperfect. Use your own judgment; don't rely on it as advice.
6. Acceptable use
Don't misuse the app: no attempts to break its security, scrape it, resell it, overload it, or use it to create content that's unlawful or harms others. AI features have fair-use limits.
7. Our content
The app, its meditations, recordings, text, design and the Frequency name and marks belong to us or our licensors. Your subscription gives you a personal, non-transferable licence to use them in the app.
8. Changes and availability
We may update, change or discontinue features. We'll tell you in the app about meaningful changes to these terms; continuing to use Frequency means you accept them.
9. Disclaimers and liability
Frequency is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be limited.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New York, except where your local consumer law says otherwise.
